Eight Chinese migrants were found dead on a beach in southern Mexico after the boat they were on capsized, officials told media on Saturday (Mar 30). Those who died include seven women and a man.
They were aboard a boat operated by a Mexican national that left Tapachula in Chapias state — over 1,100 km south of Mexico City but just a short distance away from Guatemala border — on Thursday (Mar 29), according to the prosecutor’s office.
