Sheffield United‘s Ben Brereton Diaz has received a call up to the Chile national team, per The Star.
The forward, who is 24, was initially left out of the squad due to an issue with coach Ricardo Gareca.
Brereton Diaz is eligible for Chile through his mother, but he does not have a full grasp on Spanish.
“I would like him to learn Spanish, I think it is important,” Gareca said at the time.
