Vietnam Airlines has taken delivery of the first of three A320neo aircraft, adding the single-aisle aircraft to its mixed aircraft fleet.
The aircraft, which has 182 seats, is configured in a two-class layout: eight Business Class seats, and 174 Economy Class. The A320neo includes next-generation engines which result in a 16 per cent fuel savings, 75 per cent noise reduction and 50 per cent lower emissions, compared to previous-generation aircraft.
